Troop 5 Eagle Project Ideas

An Eagle Project is designed and planned by the Eagle Candidate. The project should have lasting value to the community and benefit someone other that the Boy Scouts. There are no shortcuts or lists of things that need to be done. Each boy needs to take a look around and decide where he wants to make a contribution.

This page is intended to give you some ideas to work with. Your project will be entirely your own. The projects already completed were done by scouts in all troops in town, but is not a complete list. Go visit the locations.

Don't forget to see Mr. Winkley when you start planning. There are many steps to doing a project and he is here to help you through the process.

Keep in mind that it will most likely take you 12 months from start to finish and you must complete everything, including merit badges, before your 18th birthday. We wish you success!
